LWC Power Ranker: Week 8

War of the Worlds 2

Power Rankings – Week 8

Hello all, and welcome back to the most unbiased power rankings covering MTV’s The Challenge. These power rankings will be a combination of episode performance, TV time (including interviews and conversations), and drama (whether they were involved, plus the added significance of it). These power rankings carry over from week to week! * These power rankings are completely spoiler free! *

Another episode and another strong show overall. Team UK continues to waste away in daily challenges, racking up loss after loss. This episode just showed the lack of teamwork both during the challenge in back in the house. Team USA has the same divided as team UK however, they keep winning preventing them from having fallouts of. turmoil. This week we got a great daily challenge and interesting elimination, both featuring endurance and strength. Esther and Kyle have been sent home, but made big impacts on their way out.

1. Ashley TV Time: A Drama: B+ Last Week: 3 (+2)

There's a trend starting right now with Ashley but she continues to dominate screen time and performance. Getting selected for the tribunal just shows the trust that Team USA has with her. Ashley is in the middle of her best season to date, when you consider she has no alliance members coming into this game.

2. CT TV Time: B+ Drama: B Last Week: 2 (-)

Maybe a surprise to CT stay in the top three. However, CT has been very strong every week. she gets plenty of TV time gets lots of interviews and when it comes down to performing and challenges he might not be doing the best over on team UK, but he's not performing the worst at all. Now that the fat has been trimmed off their team it will be a true test to see how good this team can be with him leading.

3. Paulie TV Time: A Drama: B+ Last Week: 5 (+2)

Controversy follows those at the top. Paulie moves himself back into the top three after a one-week hiatus, due to being in the tribunal and being a part of the controversy that is team UK as well. He also got to see another rival of his in Kyle go home, which always can move you up.

4. Jordan TV Time: C+ Drama: C Last Week: 1 (-3)

Jordan didn't get a lot of TV time, wasn't involved in any drama, yet continues to be a physical beast in the daily challenges. As much as he might be against the majority on Team USA, one thing that is for sure is that they need to keep him around to keep winning these challenges.

5. Zach TV Time: B+ Drama: C+ Last Week: 8 (+3)

Zack was the MVP of the daily challenge, performing at the top of his game like we all know he can. Not having to politic this far into the game is one of the positives for Zach to make it far. He's playing very similar to how he did on his Free Agents season.

6. Rogan TV Time: A- Drama: A Last Week: 7 (+1)

Rogan is a very rare case this season. He is consistently in the top half of these power rankings, yet has never been in a tribunal nor won an elimination. Losing a member of his alliance might hurt him, and with the other side of Team UK being down to just Theo for the guys, will end up resulting in him sending his own alliance to try and take him out.

7. Cara TV Time: A Drama: A Last Week: 14 (+7)

Cara returns to the top 10 with another great episode. She was a standout in the daily challenge outpacing many members performing, was selected for the tribunal by Ashley, and almost got Georgia sent home on an upset in the elimination. this is the point in the game where if you're a star player you gotta turn it on and Cara is doing just that.

8. Tori TV Time: A Drama: B Last Week: 9 (+1)

The producers love Tori. She was not the main storyline this week, was not in the Tribunal, and wasn't going into elimination. However, she dominated our screens with plenty of interviews and TV time. this just shows how light she actually is by the challenge gods.

9. Joss TV Time: B Drama: B Last Week: 10 (+1)

Just started this whole thing off during nominations to get Kyle voted into elimination and it worked. Kyle went home and Joss has stet himself and his alliance up nicely going forward.

10. Dee TV Time: A- Drama: A Last Week:  13 (+3)

Dee was featured heavily in this episode, with her inability to prevent Esther from nominating herself to go into elimination. D stood her ground and played her game the best that she needed to despite team USA's best wishes. A minor argument with Ninja could cause some emotional tension, and lead to some emotional decisions. Dee's training under Wes it's starting to pay off as she's holding strong and playing her game.

11. Georgia TV Time: B Drama: B+ Last Week: 16 (+5)

Georgia was doing very well in the daily challenge, unfortunately the lack of numbers hurt her team and getting the win. The loss left Georgia in a bad situation as she is the target of Team USA because she's the best overall female on team UK. she went to do elimination against us are in a matchup that everybody thought she was going to dominate, however, she was almost the victim of an upset and could have went home halfway through the game if Esther was a little more prepared coming into the season. Even though it was a close call a win is a win she is still undefeated in eliminations and might have to send a couple more girls home to make the final.

12. Theo TV Time: B- Drama: C+ Last Week: 18 (+6)

Theo was the clutch of Team UK grabbing the relics during the daily challenge, the issue with this was that they did not get to use his endurance to help win the game. Being one of the best competitors on team UK left him at the mercy of Team USA. For the second season in a row. Had to go up against Kyle and elimination and he did everything he had to beat him. Another undefeated Brit in eliminations.

13. Leroy TV Time: D+ Drama: C- Last Week: 4 (-9)

After so many weeks of great camera time in standout performances throughout the episodes. Leroy comes crashing down to earth and took a side note to the downfall of team UK. It's yet to be known exactly where Leroy's allegiance is to.

14. Turbo TV Time: D Drama: D Last Week: 6 (-8)

Turbo got so much camera time in the past week, and then disappeared before eyes. Look for Turbo to step up and get back into form.

15. Kam TV Time: C Drama: C+ Last Week: 12 (+3)

For someone who is known to give great interviews and perform amazing in the challenges, Kam was hidden for most of this episode. Only making real impacts on the show when discussing what Dee needed to do.

16. Ninja TV Time: B+ Drama: B+ Last Week:  20 (+4)

Ninja cannot get out of the dog house. Either she gets a break on an elimination, or she gets yelled at by her teammates during a challenge, and even this episode where her best friend Dee was calling her out. Even being the center of all the negativity, Ninja has been getting a great deal of TV time.

17. Kayleigh TV Time: C Drama: B- Last Week: 18 (+1)

Kayleigh performed ok in the daily, and it's shown that her alliance is strong and should help guide her far in this game.

18. Jenny TV Time: D Drama: D Last Week: 15 (-3)

This daily challenge was set up for Jenny to have success. And other people on her team stood out over her. Jenny needs to be a physical leader and give more.

19. Josh TV Time: D Drama: D Last Week: 16 (-3)

There's a trend going on with this bottom tier, no TV time and unnoticeable performance, will put you in the bottom.

20. Nany TV Time: D Drama: D Last Week: 21 (+1)

Nany is sitting on the very bottom of Team USA right now. the lack of interviews and dominating performances is going to find her in an elimination if Team USA loses on a girl day.

21. Idris TV Time: D Drama: D Last Week:  23 (+2)

Idris was invisible throughout the entire episode until nominations for team UK. not being able to do well in daily performances or even be good enough to get interviews is keeping him on the bottom of these power rankings.

Kyle Finished 22nd

The king of TV time has been eliminated. When it comes to team UK Kyle is one of the top two favorites to get the most exposure. Starting off this elimination very strong he had a great chance to take out Theo, poor strategy led to his elimination midway through the game. Kyle needs to form stronger bonds to come back and make it back to a final next season.

Esther Finished 23rd

For a season that she was clearly the lay-up of Team UK, someone Team USA was trying to protect, Esther ended her season on a positive note. Esther was very close to upsetting Georgia in the final elimination of her season. If Esther can come to the challenge more prepared physically, her personality could carry her far into the game.

Bear Finished 24th

Nicole Finished 25th

Bananas Finished 26th

Laurel Finished 27th

Wes Finished 28th

Tula “Big T” Finished 29th

Faith Finished 30th

Zahida Finished 31st

Sean Finished 32nd
